After 10 years of long court case, Salman Khan is again in trouble, as he is under arrest by the Mumbai police, and may jailed or sent behind bars for 10 years, for the killing of a person, who was sleeping on a footpath, when his Land Cruiser hit him leaving him dead and other four injured.
In September 2002, Salman Khan’s Toyota Land Cruiser hit into a bakery in Suburban Bandra, where a pavement dweller was killed who was sleeping outside and other four persons were injured in this incident. The Indian Actor Salman Khan was appearing in the court since 2002 for the same case, and it seems that the court is near to announce the punishment for Salman Khan.
Salman Khan may be sent behind bars or may be jailed by the judge in the road accident case. The actor is being tried under section 304-A, which is the section of causing death by negligence. But Salman Khan is being treated on account of serious charge i.e. culpable homicide. This is not a case of hit and run, which fall under the same category of death by negligence.
According to the provision – section 304 of the Indian Penal Code, he may be sentenced to jail for 10 years. The Bandra Magistrate has submitted the case to the session court for trail. Now Salman Khan is bound to appear before the session court on 11th February 2013 for the hearing of the case, in which he has allegedly killed a person in road accident, as he was driving the car himself in 2012 incident.
