Rawalpindi: As Geo News reported, Malala Yousafzai has been sent to UK for better medical treatment. The family of Malala took decision to send her abroad following the suggestion of the board of doctors, who were treating her in the military hospital.
Malala Yousafzai who was an outspoken advocate for girls’ education was attacked by the unknown persons when she was on her way to back home from school last Thursday in the Swat Valley.
After getting the first aid treatment in a local hospital she was later sent to the military hospital in Rawalpindi. She got got a bullet shot in her neck, and the doctors have successfully removed the bullet from the neck or shoulder, and her condition is said to be better. The TTP has taken the responsibility of attack on Malala Yousafzai, and police has arrested the key suspects of Malala attack. One of the Pakistani Ambassador in UAE has told Geo News that an Air Ambulance is coming to shift the Malala from the Pakistan to U.K.
According to the ISPR statement Malala’s condition is better now and she is out of danger as her heath is being improved. As the ventilator was removed for some moments, the Malala Yousafzai started breathing herself on her own. ISPR further added that the 14-years old Malala need more attention, time and rest to be recovered fully physically and psychologically. Therefore the decision to shift her to abroad is good. Malala has now become the potent symbol of protest against the Taliban’s efforts to prevent girls from the education.
The whole nation is with Malala Yousafzai as it is protesting and having candlelight vigils, but on the other hand government is not criticizing the Taliban publicly with their names.
