Chandigarh: Famous Indian actor and comedian Jaspal Bhatti is no more as he died in a road accident near Nakodar town in Punjab.
According to the police, Jaspal Bhatti’s was on his way to Jalandhar for the promotion of his new movie i.e. Power Cut, meanwhile his car collided with a tree alongside the highway. The accident took place around 3am on Thursday, when Bhatti was on his way from Bathinda to Jalandhar. Bhatti leaves his wife Savita, a son and a daughter behind.
During the accident his son, Jasraj and the heroin of film Surili Gautam also got injured. They rushed to the hospital after the accident, where doctors declared the Jaspal Bhatti dead.
The cremation is expected this evening after completing the legal formalities like post-martem and other things, to get the dead body from the hospital. He was a one of the best comedians who had been entertaining the people with his plays and movies. The Bollywood industry is mourned upon his death as it was a big loss for the industry.
Bhatti was on a 40-days tour for promotion of his film, which was to be released on Friday. Jaspal Bhatti was introducing his son in the new movie ‘Power Cut’.
He was a veteran actress and comedian of Indian cinema as well as Bollywood. Ulta-Pulta and Flop Show both are the biggest programs of Jaspal Bhatti. He has also worked in several Bollywood movies to entertain the audience.
