SWAT: The Winner of National Peace Award, Malala Yousafzai injured in an incident. She came under the national spotlight for her brave efforts to bring back the peace and relaxation to her hometown i.e. Swat. The unknown assailants opened the fires on her vehicle, when she was on her way to home from the school with other two school girls.
Whereas the police report is concerned, Malala Yousafzai along with two other school girls was on its way when some unknown attackers came and opened the fires on Malala Yousafzai’s vehicle after recognizing her, leaving the innocent activist injured. The girls were on their way from school to home.
According to the sources, Malala and other two girls who were injured in the attack soon shifted to District Headquarter Hospital in Saidu Sharif, where doctor took the immediate action and told that Mala was hit by a bullet in her head.
Hospital sources told that Malala Yousafzai was fortunately and immediately operated and was out of danger. After gaining the consciousness she spoke to her father. As she is out of danger, she is being transferred to Peshawar’s Combined Military Hospital via Helicopter.
It is worth mentioning here that the Child activist Malala Yousafzai was receiving threats to her life from the unknown persons, after which she was provided with unarmed security personnel and a special car.
The international children’s advocacy group and Kids Rights Foundation had included Malala Yousafzai among the nominees for the International Children’s Peace Prize. She is the first Pakistani girl who was nominated for this award. She was awarded with the first National Peace Award by the Pakistani government in December 2011 for her brave, courageous and outstanding services for the promotion of peace under the the severe hostile conditions in Swat Vally.
