New Delhi: Several and prominent Indian Muslim clerics belonging to different fictions appealed to Muslims to restrain from cow slaughter on this Eid-ul-Azha honoring the Hindus, who are in majority in the country. It will reduce the anger between Muslims and Hindus as well as the quarrels and disputes.
While going through the media reports, it is learnt that the Deputy Head of Islamic Seminary Dar-ul-Uloom Deoband Maulana Abdul Khaliq Madrasi has declared that avoiding the cow slaughter will be in the favor of Indian Muslims.
As Hindus worship the cows and have a great respect for this animal in their hearts, Maulana Abdul Khaliq Madrasi stated there is a ban on cow slaughter in several areas of India, so Muslims should restrain from cow slaughter even in those places where it is not banned and prohibited.
According to another statement issued by All India Muslim Personal Law Board’s vice president Maulana Syed Kalbe Sadiq, who is a Shia cleric, it is an appeal to all Muslims to completely avoid or restrain from cow sacrifice on this Eid-ul-Azha. India is our country and we should honor the majority i.e. Hindus, so that their religious feelings couldn’t be hurt.
